Hi, I’m Aisya Abdul Rahman!

Aisya runs the strategic litigation programmes and manages the Resource Centre at Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights (MCCHR). She holds a LLM in International Law since 2016 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2010. Before joining MCCHR, she was involved in legal research, law reform, and education projects in Colombia, Ukraine, and Scotland. She had also been a practising lawyer, and has appeared before Malaysia’s highest courts and acted as counsel in at least 15 reported cases.

Aisya tries to read, write, and be fluent in Arabic, French and Spanish more than she travels and watches films. But the struggle is real.
